What is This Future Dispatch Thing?

Future Dispatch is a shared work of fiction covering the events leading up to a possible future that is:

1. Better than our current society
2. Optimistic in outlook
3. Not utopian
4. Attainable without making people into angels.

Any writer, painter, sculptor, or other artist is welcome to build onto the Future Dispatch world, as long as they:

1. Keep existing lore canon (at least to the extent that the people portrayed could reasonably continue to believe that their beliefs are true)
2. Don't condone or portray hatred in a positive light
3. Don't turn it into a dystopia
4. and comment on existing works as though they were happening now instead of in the future (i.e., don't refer to the works' predictiveness but comment as though they were characters in the timeline of the work).

Any similarity to actual events, present or future, or real people, is purely coincidental and not intended as statements of fact. See above about this being made up.
